My apologies for my extreme hiatus.  Job search + final exams + graduation = neglect of tumblr.  I hope you don’t take it personally.

But I’m back baby!  And with diploma in hand.  Well … sort of.  Don’t even get me started on those ridiculous place holders they hand you rather than a real diploma.  “Diploma forthcoming???”  It’s been forthcoming forfour years.  How am I supposed to get excited by what seems to be a glorified over-sized red billfold?

But I really am excited.

You see, graduation marks the beginning of the rest of my life, which is all at once thrilling and scary.  In two short weeks I’ll be moving to Minneapolis to begin an editorial internship at Delta Airlines’ Sky magazine.  It’s not exactly New York, but it’s not exactly moving home either, and I think it’s going to be an amazing experience.  In the meantime I plan to brush up on my freelancing skills, actually read for pleasure again, and do whatever it takes to land my dream job.  

Get ready, world!  I’m coming for you.
